New Year, New Crafty Projects

Happy New Year!! Hope you all have a lovely festive period and had time to relax and enjoy a little down time. 

Christmas was quiet in our house this year. We have teenagers in the house and had to wake them up this year which was a new experience. Seems the 5am wake up calls are a thing of the past. Did you get any lovely crafty goodies? any new projects? Kevin bought me some inkjet fabric sheets as I want to try and decorate a pair of Doc Martens. I hoping to start this project soon so I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully if they turn out ok, I'll wear them to a show :) 

We are nearing the end of our first trip to Create and Craft this week. Monday saw us launch out latest addition to our Allstore workstations. The Winsford is a smaller storage unit, but opens up to a large work area. Its perfect for compact areas, and fits well under windows, stairs and eaves. It's only available from Create and Craft until February, then it will be on our website. 

It looks like we will be at a number of craft shows this year too, starting with Crafting Live at Sandown at the end of January. I love attending these events and seeing everybody. They are hard work, but worth it. I also find them the perfect opportunity to stock up on a few crafty items - but don't tell Kevin 😉

I've also decided that in 2023 I'm going to try learn a few new crafty skills. The first one is working with felt. My mum and I are going to be going on a felt bag day course. It's local to us and will be a fun day out. I'll take photos and let you know how it goes.
