How can August nearly be over??

I cannot believe in a few days August is over and September begins, bringing the return to routine as schools go back, shorter days, autumn colours and hopefully more crafting time.

August has been a busy one for us what with weddings, holidays, the Festival of Quilts and shows on Create and Craft, and it looks like September is going to be packed too. We have shows at Create and Craft coming up with something we've not brought you on there before, but you've been asking for, and we have the Creative Craft show at Westpoint, Exeter - our local show. I am really excited for this one, as I get to go to this one as the dates don't clash with anything. I've started making a shopping list of the things I'm running low on, and I know know they'll be other bits that catch my eye - aren't there always!

We are looking to add a few more shows than we had already pencilled in for the remainder of the year. Once I have these booked and sorted, I'll add the dates to our socials, so keep an eye out.

It's the last Bank Holiday before Christmas this weekend, and although I'm workingman our Teashop on Saturday and taking our kids out on Sunday, I'm hoping to spend some quality time in my Craft Room. I have so many things I want to do, but choosing where to start can take me so long lol. I have some Zentagle to try, Macramé to start alongside so many quilts I want to do. Anyone else feel there just isn't enough time to craft?

Don't forget there's only a few days left in our Summer Sale too. So if you're starting your Christmas shopping, maybe treating yourself or a load one, use the code AUGUST20 for 20% off your basket.

Have a fabulous, crafty Bank Holiday and see you soon

Jo 💕
